Frantic Friday!
You are all great - thank you!! The support and understanding helps me so much to hang in there. One suggestion was from Sue about trying the No Count plan – I am going to get out the book and read up on it a bit more and probably will try it after we get back from the weekend. I was a bit concerned as I really do like bread and usually have four slices a day, but I will look at the food they suggest to replace it with (or as Sue suggested count the bread points.) Fruit as snacks isn’t a problem. Deep down I know that my body needs something to jolt it and this could well be the thing.
There are also another couple of options I’ve thought about that I could try if the No count plan isn’t for me. Cutting back to 18 would be one and the Wendy plan the other. So I’ve got some options and need to get out of my comfort zone and try them. Meanwhile I’m counting! We are away this weekend and as the rest of the group are planning just to buy food at the concert, I’ve planned ahead and I’m going to buy a Subway to take along, also will take fruit and a packet of WW rice crackers – there should be no excuses to get lead astray!!
Yesterday as you know I was feeling frustrated. Also as it was so cold and windy I was thinking that aqua wouldn’t be on the agenda for me as I’m still shaking of this cold so was a bit disappointed. I had to pick up something from my daughter’s then took myself into town – just looking, found two lovely tops on sale and bought both of them! I came out of the shops and the sun was out, the wind had dropped, it was warmer so I raced home for my togs and towel and back off to aqua. Last night I felt so much better about everything – that’s what I needed, just some retail therapy and a session in the pool!!
A bit of a frantic start to the day here! The men that sub contract for us all arrived together with boxes of equipment to be packed up and returned, queries and so on. Our main man is off on holiday for a week so as it’s coming up month end there were lots of lose ends to tidy up. The phone was busy! I couldn’t get MM on his cell phone, then he arrived back at the office – looking for the cell phone! Not to be found anywhere, I suggested his sports bag from tennis the night before – no he replied – it won’t be there, however he looked and it was! I had to be at the hairdressers by 11.00am and it takes normally 15 minutes to drive there, it was now 10.50am! Luckily all the lights were green, not too much traffic and I found a park right outside! Raced in at 11.02! From there on the day got better, I relaxed over a magazine or two with a cup of coffee. Had a few foils put in my hair and a trim then headed off to meet up with Jenny (Jo’s mother) always great to have a chat with her and it was good to catch up. (I'm still trying to work out how many points in those sandwiches!) Back home to the office – then off to school and day care to pick up two grandsons. Tonight – aqua again, packing for our early start tomorrow and then off to the Mission concert!
Hope you all have a great weekend – and once again a huge thanks!

Hope you have a great weekend too Anne! Sounds like you have had a great day despite the rushed start.
Hope you find a plan of attack that suits you in regards to your eating etc...
I'm sure we weren't over the top with those sandwiches :) Think what we could have had...LOL That cafe was really nice and would certainly go there again. Thanks for your company, it's always good to be able to share trials & celebrations over this weight Journey:) Would love to know more about the 'no count' way. Counting my points is one of the hardest things I find to do, so if there is an easier way I'm all for it.
Have a lovely relaxing weekend,
Cheers:)
ps........forgot to say how nice your hair looked, in fact you looked great:)
Some retail therapy always does wonders! Great that you found 2 nice tops.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do as far as NoCount etc.
Have a lovely weekend.
I'm thinking any of thse options will probably help - you just need a bit of a shake-up!
Hi Anne
I've just found your new blog and have caught up. What a bummer that you lost all the old stuff.
It's amazing how retail therapy always works so well - LOL
Good luck with trying the No Count plan. Hope you had a great weekend away and had lots of fun.
