Sad news

Our nephew's beautiful wife passed away last night. I know she touched many people with her braveness and amazing attitude. Our nephew must be going through hell and I feel so much for him. They have had such a difficult few years and especially the past few weeks, yet she seemed to be always smiling. I phoned our kids last night and our son is planning to come up from the South Island to be here.
The other news that hit us yesterday is that the tests on our 32 year old daughter do show signs of arthritis - too young! She has to wait for a referral to a clinic and after talking to the doctor this morning she will have to have further tests done as they weren't entirely clear? It's hard being a parent and seeing this happening, I'm so worried about her, how they will cope if she has to give up work, and also what the further tests are about. It doesn't seem right that this is happening to her and here we are the parents with the odd ache and pain but nothing major.
My thoughts are also with Emily and Jonny on their very sad loss.

So sorry to hear about your nephew's wife........too young.

How awful for your daughter having to cope with arthritis at such a young age. I must admit I don't know very much about it but hopefully she won't have to give up work.

More and more often I've been hearing about younger people with arthritis! All is not lost, our advances in medicene provide alot more opportunities which werent there in the past so never give up hope! All we can be thankful is that as bloggers and readers of bloggers we've recognised how important our health is to our happiness and we're doing the best to keep out the dr's and hospitals. Thoughts are you totally with you and the family Anne :) look after yourself.

So sad to hear about your nephew's wife. There has been so much death around me this week - so any people I know plus all the murders etc in the news. Lets hope for good news from now on! I hope your daughter will be OK too.

So very sorry to hear the news. I am just glad that you all are such a great, strong, happy family - that is what will help your nephew get through what will be some very tough times.

Stay strong Anne xx
