I'm still here.
Thank you!! There were some lovely comments on my last entry. I think we are all similar in thinking what we are doing is not much compared to others but as I've said before I'm quite often amazed at what people are achieving and doing for themselves!
Work has been busy also we went away for the weekend, so have been lacking time to update. I left the laptop at the bach so we thought we better go and get it! It worked out well though as the weather was just magic on Saturday so first thing MM phoned friends to see if they wanted to come over. They arrived about lunch time and the men went out fishing while we sat on the beach enjoying the sun and talked. Devin was with us as well and he pottered around in the rock pools. Night time we had a BBQ. The neighbours who are building popped in as well. We ended up the night playing scrabble, which was a bit of fun. Was Sunday's weather wasn't as good but nice and mild with no wind. Always a bonus over there when there is no wind as when it blows - it blows!!
I had a pedometer on for the weekend out of interest to see how much walking we do there and over the two days clocked up over 23,000 steps so was more than pleased with that. Food was good except (and there is usually one of those lately!!) Saturday night I thawed out chicken pieces for the BBQ and we forgot to get them out of the microwave so I had paua and a lamp chop instead. My good intentions failed.
Devin enjoyed his weekend with us but he's so full on, so many questions about so many different subjects. Our friends were laughing at how much he talks! We must have tired him out as the return trip home he fell asleep and also we think his leg fell asleep as well! We stopped the car and he woke screaming about his leg, think he had pins and needles but somehow an ice cream made it better. This coming weekend we thought it was about time to have the two next grandsons for a sleep over here! I must be mad, two three year olds. Luckily we can put them in separate rooms!!
Today's busy as I'm doing end of month but have planned both the gym and aqua. My exercise was up last week and I'm planning more of the same this week. It also feels good to be achieving a bit of variety with the walks and an odd session on the exercycle.
I haven't had a chance to catch up on many blogs but hope to do that sometime today. In the meantime I better keep moving so I can get to the gym.

At this time of year we feel like good weather is a bonus, don't we? Especially after the last couple of miserable weeks!
Two three year olds will be enormous fun! - mind you you'll probably collapse in a heap once they go home. Enjoy
Sounds like it will be tiring work, but fun all the same. You and your family are so fortunate to have a lovely bach to go away too - hope this autumn is nice and mild though :-)

I see what you mean about the similarities in the boys. They are funny little creatures aren't they. Oh and that waking up screaming bit. You could have been talking about Darcy!!.

I've just caught up with your last few entries and I'm still laughing about the mystery guests. I sure hope one day we get to hear the explanation for that one. I loved the comments you got from the dental hygienist - what a buzz for you - makes it all worthwhile. Fingers crossed for your story going in the magazine.
