it doesn't get any better than this!
Yesterday I sat with Devin and Fynn and we were reading the book and listening to the CD "The Kiwi night before Christmas" (it's done really well - love it). Just for a moment it was a special time, both the boys were cuddled next to me, grinning and rapt up in the book. I thought it doesn't get any better than this! And then..... Devin had been pointing to the words as they were being sung, Fynn wanted a turn, he can't read so was pointing all over the place, Devin got upset and tried to tell him, Fynn (being Mr Independent) didn't want to know, Devin started crying and tried to get the book, Fynn fought back (who said red-heads don't have a temper) it was all on with both of them crying and screaming - oh well I did get a few special moments. It did calm down (eventually).
I should be at WW. I couldn't be bothered. Going to instead put up the Christmas tree, bake a cake (domestic woman I can be at times), maybe do the Christmas cards, go and watch the boys swimming lessons, catch up with Deb to pick up a layby present for one of her boys. Tonight we have our work Christmas dinner, not a biggie just 6 of us. Off to a restaurant in town and have to go and get some BYO wine this afternoon. Tomorrow our little grandson Casey turns 2! His brother had his birthday last week. My daughters somehow like having these birthdays close together! (Two in one family two days apart and these two six days apart) So we have another birthday party. A chance also to catch up with my sister before Christmas and our holiday.
Have a great weekend - I hope to:)

I didn't go to ww either, apparently there were only 3 who stayed!! Jennifer has obviously put dozens of people off !! Shame that... Sandra has a lot of work to do to get them back now. Have a lovely weekend.
Aren't special family moments the best...and this time of the year seems to be the bestest...
