I passed!!

I'm jumping up and down - (well I'm not really as my legs are still a bit sore) I not only passed my test but I got 44.5 out of a possible 47!! I just had to phone MM to let him know as he was the one who told me I should have sat there for the whole two hours and go over everything. To be honest I actually enjoyed the work on this part but do have my doubts about the next section.

And while some figures look good, some aren't quite so good as for the third week in a row, I weighed in at 72.2! Now if I was trying to maintain I would be over the moon, but I'm trying to lose!! My weekend was a bit of a challenge with three meals out but apart from that I've been so careful. I'm not going to rant and rave but maybe next week......

I went back cautiously to aqua yesterday, was a little sore just every now and then, I made sure I've been doing the stretches and back to physio tomorrow. I was telling my daughter that the physio said that this probably happened as I do a lot of exercise, she remarked that no way could he have said that a few years ago!!! Looking back all the walks I had been doing involved hills, not big hills but steep. No matter which way I walk from home I hit them and the beach has even more, so will make sure to stretch those muscles afterwards.

WW last night was about losing weight as you get older, and how it can be done. Yep I thought - tell me how!! But then I thought well I've nearly done it and hovering around 26 k's from my heaviest (this was 28 a while back and will be again.) One woman there who is 80 got to her personal goal last night which was a thrill. She amazes me, such a great attitide. She joined a gym a while back. It has been a struggle for her too but she did it.

Our daughter in the UK is a bit of a worry - in almost three weeks I've had a message left on the answer phone, which really said very little and one email!! The email asked if I had received her other email, I haven't and haven't had one since. LOL She'll have to contact us soon as we have to met them at the airport and neither our other daughter or I know the exact date! Around the 3rd or 4th we were told and then she was going to check it out (and forgot). I'm missing the boys but it's lovely their other nana can share them and enjoy them for a short time.

Not long until our holiday!! Loads to do before then. Have a semester break next week from the course but will have to use this to get ahead for the three sessions I will miss out on as I know this part is going to be a bit or a lot harder for me. We have a friend's son and his girl friend house and dog sitting for us while we are away. Makes me feel better knowing someone will be here. Our older dog Amber sulks when she see us packing and when we drive away she turns her head so she can't see us. If looks could kill...

Better go and get some work done, I'm still on a little high with my result.
