Just cruising along:-)

Took this photo with my cell phone the other day when I picked up Fynn from his 2nd day at school. Here he is with his brother Devin behind him. He took it all very seriously and couldn't quite smile! (Must get those other two grandsons photo taken!)

I find some weeks I find I want to forget all about points! I still eat well, but just can't be bothered tracking. All last week after the weekend away I didn't get back into tracking at all. Every day I thought I must get back onto it again - and then would just not bother! So start of a fresh week and back into it again. So far today, I've tracked and also had a lunch time aqua session. Feels good to be back in control. Maybe the fact the sun is out and thoughts of summer and summer clothing ahead is also helping motivate me.

Had a lovely weekend, we relaxed on Friday night with Thai takeaways, I had a very tasty Chicken and Ginger dish, Peter had a curry. Saturday we had a friend here for lunch so I couldn't make it to Chris H's (then later checked my cell phone and found it had been cancelled for this week.) Our lunch was a lovely long leisurely one and our friend left mid afternoon. So the rest of the weekend was gardening, catching up with another couple of friends on Sunday, I finally put our last years holiday photos in an album and then just enjoyed the lovely weather we are at long last having. Rachel our daughter came up yesterday with our son-in-law and the two boys. They boys were going on a "bear hunt" 0n the farm. We were on our way out which was disappointing but Peter had organised to go and visit our friends, so we had to leave the boys and their parents 'bear hunting' on their own. I think it's lovely how kids can get a lot of fun out of something as simple as a walk around the farm. LOL Peter gave them a big sack and told them to look for pine cones on the way - so we got some pine cones for the fire.
Not a very exciting post, but that's life at the moment, just cruising along:-) But maybe some excitement ahead as thinking of plans ahead for another holiday next year! Looking into it at the moment and we are quite excitied - watch this space.....

That red haired grandson looks like you mate!!! Something about his eyes I think. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday, think I will bring our Izzy to play with Toby! Maybe the kids too.... will think about that. Hope you have a good week.

A bear hunt - how exciting!

Those boys are just gorgeous and Fynn looks really cheeky.

Your Thai takeaways sound yum, I love anything with ginger in it.

Have a great week.

Love the red hair. Gorgeous curls.

Don't you just love kids and their imagination. It's awesome when parents get involved with their kids like that to make things fun.
