Our peace is shattered
Our peace is shattered:-( A bulldozer in across the road getting the new sub division ready. Noisy workmen, trucks, not anything we can do so I better get used to it. Devin saw the goings on this morning and said 'they can't put more houses there, that's a farm and this is the countryside' - try telling the council that!! Being pottering between the garden and office work today. Jenny and Chris here shortly for lunch. Will be great to see them both. LOL amazing who you meet here in blogland!! Not much else happening here today. I'm picking up Devin after school, then a relaxing Friday night.
Felt so sad last night - we put Toby our dog in his kennel and it was like he was crying, I know he is missing Amber the older dog a lot. Going to start looking for a puppy I think. Not just for Toby, but would love another little girl retriever for us.
Still on a little high after my weigh in yesterday. According to the home scales the day before I had gained a little. I really know I will get to goal now and kind of excited at the challenge of staying there! The lower carbs really see to be working for me and it wasn't as hard as I thought.
Short and sweet - catch you later!

You know what you have to do don't you? MOVE
You are going to HATE the new houses over the road and the extra noise (eventually).
Start looking
Take down the front drapes and do your house work in the nude. You won't ever get new neighbors! :)
LMAO at Christines comment.
Way to go on the loss again this week.
It is sad about the subdivision, but as I said at lunch, try to look at the positives... or else move? Feel sad about Toby, I should have thought to bring Izzy out to play while we were having lunch! Silly me. Thanks for a lovely lunch too, and the magazines! See you tomorrow.
Fantastic weigh in - 4 in a row - that is great!!! :)
Thanks Anne for a great lunch. Good to see you both. Thanks too for the mags. Came home and took your advice and have taken some pics of yard. Will post tomorrow. A little girl playmate for both you and Toby would be great. I reckon if you have one you may as well have two...LOL We did for a while before Honey passed away. Not going to get another though as want to be a bit more free once Tarsha has gone to be able to go away without worrying about kennels. Yeah right!!! Bet that wont last long LOL Anyway she still has quite a few years left I reckon since she is so spoilt. Thanks again for today :)
Congrats on the lose. Keep up the good work. Sorry to hear about your troubles, with regards to the housing development.
Well done on the loss Anne. I love your new blog header.
Looking at your sidebar, you really have come a long way and done an amazing job. :-)
