Weekend over

Monday and back into work again. We went over to the beach for the weekend and while the weather wasn't the best, it was nice and relaxing. Still found spots that the wind wasn't howling in and managed a couple of walks and when the sun decided to appear it was quite pleasant. Devin was with us and while having a hokey pokey ice cream at the shop he wondered why a bit of hokey pokey was hard to bite, next thing it fell on the table - it was a baby tooth!! It's been a while since we've been on tooth fairy duties, and had to phone our daughter to see how much the fairy pays these days!

Home last night and quickly caught up with all the grandkids, found our youngest grandson Casey had shaved patches of his hair of with the clippers, he looks like he has a dreaded disease. Rachel thought he had the electric tooth brush going then found him with huge patches of hair missing! Not a good look! Back home and watered the new vege garden. Then it poured down, we had a massive electrical storm, thunder and lightening. The garden didn't need my efforts with the hose after all.

Eating over the weekend, a bit of mental tracking but much within the points I'm aiming for. Found out that diet tonic contains Asparatame - so it ended up down the drain! I really do feel an improvement in me without the 950, 951 additives. Does make me think there is something in it!

Busy day, end of month, I want to get to aqua at lunch time as well - so better move. Catch you later:-)

That's very interesting. I wonder if my SIL eats anything with this ingredient - not that he needs to diet, in fact quite the opposite.

Glad you're feeling a bit better.

Love those grandson stories!

I can't handle diet tonic anyway - the G&T just isn't the same...

Ha ha about Casey shaving his head! One of my kids did a similar thing years ago, and one of the girls chopped off all her eyelashes too!!!! funny as. Read an article about Asparatame writtten by a Doctor in America.. he said you would have to drink 1.5 litres of diet drink with asparatame in it every day for 50 years before it had ANY AFFECT on you at all.... seems to me for every negative comment you can read/hear about it, there is a positive one to counterbalance it.... same with... milk is gunna give you cancer nowdays, hell nearly everything we eat or drink has at one time or another been deemed "bad for you" ... so I choose to eat and drink whatever I like and to hell with it, I could get run over by a bus tomorrow and what I eat has nothing to do with it! I choose to enjoy life, not worry about what MIGHT BE BAD FOR ME.....rant over! You do what makes you feel good mate, and good for you, just don't be swayed by what other people say cos at the end of the day we are all gunna cark it over something!

Glad to hear you are starting to feel an improvement and if it is the preservative that's been contributing to your problem - well at least it's something you can deal with reasonably easily.
Laughed at Casey and his haircut - they things they get up to!
