Sunday night.

Have been to the beach where it was a wild and windy weekend. Thought we better go and get the lawns done, check on the place because not sure if we can go next month as we are off on holiday to Cairns. The neighbours there invited us over for a coffee and to check out the work they have been doing. They have such a beautiful home, like something out of House & Garden. I'm more than happy with ours though but theirs really is a dream place, all five levels of it! Then we went for a walk before the weather got too rough, not too far just down to the local cafe for a cappucino. Back to the cafe last night as we decided to eat there - pan fried fish and salad for me, but Grrrr just had to taste a couple of Peter's chips and also have a deep fried scallop. Could have been a lot worse than that though! Today was a lot colder but lovely though to be warm and cosy inside with the fire going, looking at the waves pounding in on the beach. I managed to read a book and half way through the second one! Very lazy! Then to top it off I feel asleep on the way home. Funny how you can get tired doing nothing!

Going to a friends for lunch - then
Dentist!! A bit of my tooth broke last week and I have an appointment to get that seen to. I hate the dentist - well I suppose most people do!
Pick Devin up from school.
In between this I have to get some work done. Going to be busy. That's why I thought I would
update now.

Food over the weekend - as usual I always find weekends hard but this one even though over a little on points both days, I coped well. No water though! Well very little.

Back to sit in front of the fire. Dinner tonight nice and simple, chicken bacon, an egg, tomatoes and baked beans. Sounds like comfort food.

Under six weeks until our holiday!! Looking forward to some warmth and sun:-) Starting to countdown......
