Madness!
That's how my day feels!! We are meant to be going away in a few hours and I have done no packing. This morning I was up bright and early to make pumpkin soup, stock take, office work, go to hairdressers, grocery shop - then the phone rung. Our daughter has got tonsilisitis - quite a bad case, her husband aksed if we could have the boys this morning as he had to start work early, so my morning was entertaining talkative kids while entering the work sheets into the computer (just as well women can multi task), dropping them of to school then child care (I hate car seats and belts - always seem to struggle getting them all strapped in!). Then a mad rush to the hairdressers and now home wondering where to begin! We will get to the beach, the pumpkin soup won't, the groceries will get bought on the way - now of to have a quick drink (coffee) and do the stock take. I'm going to enjoy our weekend! Have my sister and some friends coming over. It will be fun. Our kids are house sitting. So now just have to get the work done and go!
Briefly I have a few action plans on how to deal with the weekend - I know there will be loads of temptations around me, but I know I can cope.
Last of all yesterday I clocked up my 20th visit to the gym (into week 7) - every single exercise ticked off. My page looked like a glowing example of a gym bunny's. I was proud - I showed my instructor - look the whole page is full! The reaction - all he said was he would get me another page. I wanted him to say well done - or just react! Do have to wonder....
Hope you all have a wonderful relaxing and safe Easter break.

Woohoo - happy dance for the gym bunny and for the long weekend!
Which gym instructor? I shall go give him a bloody slap, useless man! You are dong sooo well Anne, I'm proud of you. As for this weekend, hey, we might come over for a day, I still have to climb back up to that darn lighthouse without dying! Can you send me your address and instructions in a private e-mail? I'll let you know if we decide to come over!
Well it was nice of you to change your plans to accomodate your son inlaw. Have a wonderful time away. In the end it won't matter that you didn't bring the soup. Have fun and enjoy your time away.

Have a great Easter Anne!
