We are going to....

Yep I was a bit of a tease;-) We looked and looked and most options meant travelling first to Wgton then flying to Auckland, one we were really keen on even meant a night in Auckland. Seemed to be a waste of a holiday day. Then we thought why not fly direct from home to Brisbane, check out internal flights to Cairns which worked out (and was a really good price) then we will hire a car and head to Port Douglas. We have been up on the Sunshine Coast before and have always wanted to see further so end of July we are on our way. Really looking forward to it. I'm a bit of a sunshine, warm weather person and so this is the perfect Winter break for us.

Had a busy day so far today, so no gym, no aqua. Have done two really full on sessions this week and a couple of aqua so still happy with that. Today I went of to have my eyes tested, passport photos taken, groceries and then back home. Passport photos - I hate them! We want to get to the beach sometime this weekend so will do a couple of good walks over there. My knee is improving and I realised yesterday at the gym that I haven't had calf muscle pain for some time. So feeling the leg work I'm doing there is paying of with strengthening my calf muscles. It makes it worth it when you can see a result.

I picked Devin up yesterday from school, felt a little sad for him when he told me that a kid at school told Devin that he was the uncoolest kid in the world and the stupidest. Stupid is one thing he isn't, his reading age is a couple of years older then him! Uncool - well he doesn't like new clothes, won't wear his hair spiked up, he just likes his old comfy shorts and t shirts. Kids can be so cruel.
