The weekend:-) And a surprise!!!
10.30 **** UPDATE - GUESS WHAT??? *****
We have a surprise for morning coffee - Helena!!!!!!!!! HeHe - I kept that quiet didn't I!!!!
Later - Well they surprised me, it wasn't only Helena but also Jo and Rachel. Helena is looking absolutely stunning! In fact they all are! Was lovely to have them all here and catch up. Funny as they hid in a bedroom and one by one popped out to surprise Janene! LOL Peter wants to know what we find to talk about??
Now here is my original entry....
Had a meal out last night with friends, which ended up a bit of a late night for us. A lot of fun though and a lovely meal - but oops... We went to a local Thai restaurant, everyone wanted the banquet for four, so I went with the flow. I don't seem to be able to 'pack' away food like I used to. I had soup, a chicken kebab, and a half a deep fried mushroom (couldn't resist) then the mains came out, six plates (including rice) for four of us! I was feeling quite comfortable - in fact a bit full after the first smallish plate, but we kept on picking away. I aimed for the healthier options but did have a couple of small fried sizzling steak pieces. And a few wines of course. Back to friend's for coffees, by then I was quite full (food not so much drink!) Kept waking in the night feeling bloated and yuk. Scales up 1.2 kilos this morning (overnight!) I'm sure this will come down in the next couple of days.
Coffee morning up here this morning, with Chris, Janene and Chris, Jorja and maybe Griffin & Brylee and also Izzy the dog. Jenny is of to Aus so don't think she will make it somehow. Not really sure who will be coming, but hope they enjoy the lovely sunny day we are having. Peter has just pointed out in my efforts to water blast the deck the other I have mud splattered up the windows. Will have to give it another go later and try to clean up. Of to the beach sometime today, mainly just to mow lawns, garden a little. Only going to stay one night so will probably just eat out there. Another meal out so Sunday will see me knuckling down.....
Of to cook some muffins! Enjoy this wonderful weather and weekend:-)
