Where have we been....
Nelson - but back now. In our typical fashion - what should have been a simple flight back from Nelson to Palmy flight time of 45 mins, ended up being two flights, one to Auckland about 500 - 600 k's north of our destination, probably flying right over our house! Then another flight back home, about 5 hours later. Our flight to Palmy was cancelled, not sure why. One way of looking at it - it was a bargain! Two flights for $49! The flight to Auckland was rough!! Felt like we were rattling around the aircraft, then it would drop what felt like metres - a few frantic looking passengers, me included. When we arrived the wind was so strong that initially I couldn't take a step forward, scary. We did have a lovely time though - and I will be back later to update. Of to pick up the car we bought in the weekend! It's all go here.....

I just caught up on the car crash bit... bummer. Hope you got the insurance stuff sorted today. I think you have had all your bad luck for the year mate... fingers crossed~!
If I was you, I'd start worrying if everything started going right. I hope you can laugh about it all.

It's funny how they do that (fly from one end of the country to the other) to get us there! Done a similar thing coming back from Christchurch a few years back.
