Falling to bits!

I feel like I'm falling to bits, I'm still battling with this cold and now coughing as well. I also have picked up a skin infection so have decided it's time to visit the doctor and I have an appointment tomorrow. Should have really gone before now but I was hoping I would come right. I want to get better so I can get back into the pool!

We couldn't have picked a windier weekend to go and stay at the beach! Our place is on poles, on a hill and quite exposed and at times it almost felt like the windows were going to blow in!! Was a bit freaky. The shop owner there thought the wind gusts were probably around 130k's - and it can get stronger than that! We are heading back this this weekend. We have now listed it as a holiday rental and really have to take advantage of any weekends it's empty and becuase of the sea being rough Peter didn't get to look for crays (for Christmas) so we thought we would have another go. We still had a fun weekend and ended up playing Scrabble and Cranium until around 1.00am. Darn I'm going to miss WW again this weekend. I'm helping at another meeting so may weigh in then.

Here I was thinking I was so good not buying one of my downfalls (cashews) last week when I got groceries to take away. We then had to stop the way over to the beach last Friday to get a couple of things we had forgotten. Peter went into the supermarket to get some eggs while I nipped into the chemist to get some cough mixture, I couldn't believe it when I went back into the supermarket to see Peter filling a bag up - of cashews!! Not only that he then opened them in the vehicle, so I started - I only had a couple then told him how I had purposely not bought any so I wouldn't be tempted. He said he could move them out of reach - so I told him to go for it!

I have another test on Friday but feel prepared for that one - they have told us it's quite an easy 8% - but the exam is getting closer and today I've finally got out my books and start to study.

Food and exercise - food has been good, in fact the weekend away was one of my best efforts of staying pretty much on track. Exercise - well almost non existant - but here's hoping I can soon get back into it!

Sorry to hear you are feeling even worse, hopefully another weekend away will do you wonders.

We have 130km winds today in Wellington and it is horrible so hopefully you won't get them again when you go away (fingers crossed).

Hoep you are feeling better. Really unfair isn't it when illness interferes with your exercise plans.
