Something to smile at:-)
Something to smile at:
- Sneak preview - the scales look quite promising for weigh in.
- LOL at Peter's filing, a pile of paperwork found this morning dated 23/4/07 with a post-it note "Just about ready to bin pile"
- Had my hair done, foils and cut.
- Freezing night - but the pool was warm last night!
- We are heading over to the beach this weekend.
Also had to smile last night at the phone call we received, our beach house is on the internet available to rent. We do get lots of enquiries. It's at Castlep0int, really miles from anywhere, a small settlement mainly holiday makers, one shop, one pub and that's about it. Phone call from the Capital city - the questions I got asked:
- What can children do? (ummm play in the sand, water, paddle, walk, run up and down the sand hills, eat an ice cream, have fun, explore, walk to the lighthouse - sorry no McD's, flash play grounds though)
- Are there wineries close? (no sorry)
- Video shop? (no sorry)
- What can you do on the beach.
- What's the shop called
A few more questions along the same line. Not sure what they are expecting, but we go to relax, walk, read, blob and the kids just play.
I called this post something to smile at, and I'm trying, but I feel kind of weird, all to do with the other issues that are happening to me at the moment. I want to enjoy life (fully) I don't feel I am until I feel better. Going to the doctors on Friday - just to talk. I need to get me sorted and feel right.

Big Hugs Anne. Had to laugh at city folk!!!!! Their kids have no idea how to just play & have fun without being entertained all the time and the adults relax. Geez !!! that's what going to place like that is for....to unwind :) Enjoy your weekend over there. Will be in touch when I get back. Maybe a catch up in town one day next weeek. :)
Oh, how I wish we could rent your beach house. It looks and sounds so lovely.
Sorry to read about your panic attacks. My lovely but depressed son-in-law has them too from time to time, as if he didn't have enough problems. Life is really a struggle sometimes.
I didn't know (or possibly I forgot) that you'd spent two years in Scotland. How intriguing. Or maybe you mean your first two years...?
Isn't it a shame that people can't just seem to relax these days?
Lots of people I know are like that where they need something or someone to entertain them.....what's that about? I am happy when I can just sit and relax without anyone around.
Hope all goes well at the doc's.
Is your bach on the internet?
What's the link? I may have to book it sometime:)
