Another lovely day....
It's a beautiful sunny morning. Loving this weather:-)
We have a party to go to tonight - Hawaiian theme, it's our daughter's brother-in-laws birthday. As all the family are invited including us, it means our other daughter has to get a baby sitter for her boys. They asked the neighbour's teenager, lives next door (who has done it before) if he would baby sit four kids (our two grandsons and their two cousins) in one house. All four will be in bed - he said yes but then came back and demanded $100 for the night. He said he is worth $20 an hour. Don't know but sounds a bit steep to me! The boy visits one of the families all the time and they take him to stock cars a lot (paying for him to go in etc). They told him they couldn't afford it - so not sure what Plan B is!
Better go - lots on today. Peter is of to an auction to bid for a bigger (double) dog kennel and run, hope he gets it as will be perfect for Toby and Izzy!

That sounds exorbitant to me!
It's been a horrible day here today: dark and wet and windy and cold, with spring a long time off yet. I just can't imagine heat! I hope you keep some of that nice weather till March, when my little boy and his girl come over to New Zealand!
Well done for the loss. You're going the right way, as you say.
Can't believe it!!! My ironing lady charges me $12 per hour and my cleaning lady I pay about $17 - and all the kids will be in bed!! Think he might have priced himself out of business. Have a lovely night anyway. You must post us some pics of Izzy and Toby once you've got them together. Love Z xx

That's extortion if you ask me. At that price what parent could afford to go out for an evening. Hope you had fun.
Blimmey, I'd say that $100 is exorbitant too! What? Is he expecting to stay the WHOLE week baby-sitting? LOL.
Seriously though, I do hope that you enjoy the party. It sounds like fun!

I'd go back to the neighbour's teenager with a price (more like $40.00) and say - take it or leave it and remind him they will all be in bed so you will be paying for him to sit and watch TV.
