Weekend ahead:-)
Well I gave the physio a huge laugh today, she thought my attempt at stopping the car hilarious. I can see the funny side but I have a haem..... something or other - I can't spell it! Some bruising and swelling, nothing that won't come right. A bit sore after she finished with me today but she said that would happen. The good news is I can still exercise but just to take care and don't do anything that will aggravate it. And who would have through that exercise would now be a priority in my life these days!
After physio I came home and caught up on some office work, then headed off to the gym. I was looking forward to getting in the pool after the gym session but I left my togs behind, so went shopping instead. I met up with Jenny (Jo's mother) for lunch, then back home and into the office work again. Pleased that the gym is going well for me and I worked up quite a sweat today, roasting hot in there. Managed the full session too! I'm going to take advantage of the warm day and go into aqua tonight. Great way to finish the week. Will buy kebabs on the way home for dinner.
I'm been interested in what Helena's doing lately and I've decided it time for a change for me. So I've bought one of the books she follows of TradeMe (Eat Move and Be Healthy) and going to order her "New Testament" as she calls it. Will be interested to get reading and I'm definitely going to give it a go! I'm sure my body needs a change in what it's being fed. In fact I know it does! Interesting though how we change. My early WW days I was into food that tasted like what I had always eaten. I used to have quite a lot of the WW package meals, and really enjoyed them. The other favourite was low fat pies that a shop in town makes, the owner is a WW leader and she calculates the points of the pies. I loved this type of food as it was similar tasting to what I had been eating for years. Really have gone of it all now though. I don't think I could ever face another WW meal again! Also there are now WW muffins in town, yay I thought, so I bought one and it didn't do much for me at all, tasted stodgy, yet I know when I first started I would have been over the moon if these were about.
My daughter had today of work and I didn't have to pick up Devin from school. I missed him! Fridays are our coffee days, me a flat white or similar and he has a fluffy. Still I managed to get a lot done without him about.
Oh no - just looking out the window and it's getting blacker by the minute. I'm sure it's going to pour down soon, hope not I want to get in the pool.
Have a great weekend:)

Isn't it interesting how our tastes change? Just the thought of fatty foods make me feel a bit sick, now!
I'm on the lookout for 'Helena's' books now too! I still love fatty food, I'm weird! It does not like me though! Lovely to see you this morning (Sat), you are looking so lovley!
